The sun came out for Adelaide's second Harvest Rock festival and so did the crowds.

Huge numbers flock to party across two glorious Adelaide days and nights, and there's not a poncho or puddle to be seen all weekend.gives us the first anthemic moments of the festival, slapping together a formidable set of Powderfinger classics and his most enduring solo material to get the crowd's vocal cords warmed up.give us a dose of electro funk complete with searing guitars and beautifully spacey synths.

It's never lost on me how beautifully he brings his culture to every space he inhabits, not just in rapping in Yolngu Matha but explaining his language, his people, and the pride he has in bringing it to Kaurna country., and as soon as she and her dancers and band hit the stage we wish they’d been programmed later in the night., and the choreography could be easily at home in an art dance troupe. The sound at the Vines Stage can be a bit washy, which means some of Santi's impact is lost.

It doesn't let up from there, as he expertly gives us sleek weirdo funk , introspective balladry , pop maximalism and old favourites .There are so many moving parts that threaten to steal the show. His band are energetic and engaging as they bring these brilliant songs to life. The stage set up and visuals provide an intoxicating visual feast that's easy to lose yourself in.

Kids are catered for too, with Little Harvest making use of an existing playground in the park and being the breeziest place to hang at the festival.
