Archbishop Anthony Fisher says that at Christian schools, parents “expect the Christian positions on marriage to be taught” similarly to how one would expect “Muslim positions being taught” at a Muslim school. theboltreport

Catholic Archbishop Anthony Fisher says that at Christian schools, parents “expect the Christian positions on marriage to be taught” similarly to how one would expect “Muslim positions being taught" at a Muslim school. Speaking with Sky News host Andrew Bolt the Archbishop pointed out that in the same regard “several positions” on marriage could potentially be taught at a state school.

He said teachers’ position on marriage should be aligned with the school they are teaching at, “in respect for the parents, in respect for the children who want to be taught, presumably by teachers who are not phonies who really believe the school’s line". “If you’re not in favour of what your school teaches, you’re probably in the wrong place,” he said.

Bradthinks71 Given that he has no experience of it and his mysogonistic peadophile infested institution doesn’t either his his comments/teachings are best delivered in a vacuum

Absolutely, but we can’t expect these parliamentarians who appear to be suffering from white guilt to be critical of any religion unless it happens to be Christianity.

While state schools teach the states position on marriage. What if the religious position on marriage is in conflict with the states position, eg. polygamy, child brides. Should a religious position override the states position on any issue?

Yes and I’m going to put full credence in that statement from a bloke wearing a dress.

I do not want to here from these priests, they do not represent Christ they insult Jesus with their idolatry and false teachings daily! They are not followers of Christ!!!

Religion is a core part of business for a religious school. Protected by one of sensible original UN declarations.HENCE why the UN is being overrun by progressives.

The Archbishop's red line in the sand demand 4 the logical continuation of the cultural status quo with perhaps a polite but firm warning shot across the bow 2 quell any over ambitious queer rainbow brigade calls 4 schools 2 dedicate Inclusive Tuesdays 4 trans tuckshop lunch duty

I'm disappointed. Scrolled through the responses and nobody asked about the Missionary Position?!

Religion is not the Government. Religion does not run Schools. Dept of Education runs Schools. Religion is a Lifestyle Choice ... keep it in the home, or tell your Church to start paying their fair share of Taxes !

Yes, correct.

Yes, marriage happens BEFORE intimacy.

The difference is non Christians with money can go to Christian schools & non Christians can teach there! Muslims are far more devout & fanatical skynews

Is that the Missionary Position?

Spot on! Amen to that Archbishop

It's a sad day when Christianity in this country has to call on Islam for help. Brought to you by people who lost the connection to their own culture, history, and tradition.

Exactly! But we were told SSM was just about love....turns out it was about so much more!

I bet the parents of the sexual abuse victims thought their kids were being taught Christian values as well. Funny how the clergy are interested in everyone else doing the right think but they get a pass. No credibility mate.

The Archbishop can maintain his Christian position all he wants. The people have had enough of him and others like Pell the paedophile 🤬

Do the filthy priests also teach of their desire for sex with little boys in Christian schools..or is that more of an extra curricular activity?

Bingo

I presume the christian position is similar to the missionary variety, but without a pith helmet.

Isn’t the Christian position love thy neighbour? And do unto others...? bekind

stuff them both. they need to move into the 21st century like the rest of us
