A new report lists the most reliable cars in the world – most of which are available in South Africa.

A recent Consumer Reports study shows that Lexus is the most reliable vehicle brand worldwide, including South Africa.

The survey focused on 20 areas of concern, ranging from minor irritations like squeaky brakes to major issues like engine and gearbox problems. The reliability rating was then combined with data collected from CR’s track testing, as well as its owner satisfaction survey results and safety data, to calculate each test vehicle’s overall reliability score.
