Sky News host Chris Kenny says the ABC “seems a bit obsessed” with targeting Liberal MP DaveSharma.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says the ABC “seems a bit obsessed” with targeting Liberal MP Dave Sharma. Mr Kenny said when “modern Liberal Party member” Dave Sharma attempted to enter parliament, “you’d think that even the green-left ABC” may have perceived him “as one of the good guys”.

Referencing the 2018 by-election between Mr Sharma and “climate evangelist Kerryn Phelps,” the ABC “went big on a nasty fake email in the final days," Mr Kenny said. “But now Sharma is being targeted again because he had the audacity to question ABC priorities with taxpayers’ money”. Mr Kenny said he believes there is “a pretty strong argument” the ABC is in fact “wasting taxpayers’ money”.

Emission targets should be 'realistic' and not 'cripple our economy' | Sky News AustraliaLNP Senator Matt Canavan says he is very focused on “making sure we do not glibly sign up to these fantastical, ridiculous next-generation target like net-zero emissions by 2050 and cripple our economy in doing so”.\n\nMr Canavan told Sky News he was 'happy to reduce carbon emissions' but they should go about it in a 'realistic way'.\n\nHe said “one of the reasons we have met out Kyoto targets is because we stopped farmers clearing their trees' and as a result “their opportunity to grow and develop their part of this great nation has been diminished”. \n\nOpposition leader Anthony Albanese announced Labor’s commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050 however this is a “policy which would have to see us end coal exports in a generation” Mr Canavan said. \n\n“They want to control the amount of exports and wealth that is generated here in central and northern QLD from a room in Canberra. \n\n'This is how far the Labor Party has departed from their original mission to defend and protect workers.”\n\nImage: News Corp Australia mattjcan Commonsense mattjcan So instead we'll cripple future generations with the debt of a broken climate and the failed economics of coal. 👍🏽 mattjcan Desk-jockey makes a promise. BBC being 'out of touch' sounds 'terribly familiar' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says the issues plaguing the BBC, such as it being “out of touch with mainstream concerns,” mirror similar issues facing Australia’s ABC.\n\nThe public British broadcaster is facing a proposal to scrap the compulsory licence fee which has funded it for decades, and instead replace it with an “opt-in subscription model”.\n\nA survey conducted last week in the UK found more than half of the respondents agreed with the abolition of the licensing fee, while 50 per cent believed it did not represent value for money.\n\nMr Kenny said there are plenty accusations of the BBC “losing touch with the mainstream as it obsesses with minority activism,” like its recent feature of a poem about the ‘struggles of getting a haircut as a non-binary person’.\n\nThe same qualities which represent the main gripes with the BBC, such as focusing on “its own niche issues” and “lacking a diversity of ideas,” sound “terribly familiar” to the arguments against the ABC.\n\nImage: Getty\n yes puppets have same masters & it ain't the taxpayers macsween_prue Chris Kenny is out of touch with not just concerns but reality. Coronavirus impact has caused 'deep concern' for Australia's economy | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Sharri Markson says there is “deep concern about how the Australian economy can handle this hit,” as the lasting impacts of the deadly coronavirus threat continue to impact Australia's tourism sector. \n\nMs Sharri noted the Commonwealth Bank recently downgraded its GDP forecast by 0.4 per cent for this calendar year, with the reported drop in projection apparently attributed mostly to the impact of the coronavirus. \n\nThere are concerns “just how bad this is going to get” and how the Australian economy will react, Ms Markson said. \n\nIt comes as Prime Minister Scott Morrison “ruled out any compensation for the education or tourism sectors,” according to the Sky News host. \n\nImage: Getty Australia, opt for Health, Safety & Justice, not for RMB! SharriMarkson Chinese tourism to Australia has very little value add. The Chinese tour operators have vertically integrated. Flights, transits, restaurants, hotels, tours are all owned by the Chinese. Australians don't benefit. SharriMarkson Just an excuse for no surplus.

Waleed Aly 'wants Australia to learn from Germany on climate change': Kenny | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Chris Kenny says Channel Ten's The Project,” is “unashamedly woke, pitching its program and what it calls news at the young, and presumably, the ill-informed'. \n\nMr Kenny referenced a recent report by Waleed Aly where the host presented Germany “as an exemplar on climate change action and sensible, efficient energy policies”. \n\nIn comparison, Australia was contrasted as a country that isn’t “doing anything” on the issue of climate change. \n\n“The Project claimed Germany is showing Australia the way in the here and now,” he said. \n\nMr Kenny referenced recently released reports that “shows German electricity prices are the highest of the major world economies at 34c a kilowatt hour”. \n\nHe argued this is 41 per cent higher than Australia at 24 cents per kilowatt hour and 126 per cent higher than the United States. \n\n“Waleed Aly and The Project say we should be emulating the wonderful climate action success story of Germany'. \n\n“Is that what The Project is arguing for, or do they really think they can just pump out fake news and no one will ever check out the actual facts?' Mr Kenny said. \n\nImage: Getty \n Chris Kenny saying someone is uninformed. Rupert come on old man. That's so funny 😂. Why then, does kenny get 10% of their ratings and his market share is dwindling? As opposed to Sky viewers, who are asleep at the wheel because they are so seriously ill-informed by your ClimateCrisis disinformation network...
