The latest newspoll released by The Australian has indicated Queensland Labor is a clear frontrunner against the LNP in the leadup to the state's election on October 31.

The poll found 43 per cent of Queenslanders were confident Annastacia Palaszczuk would be more effective in creating jobs over the next four years than LNP Leader Deb Frecklington, who received 23 per cent in the poll. Labor also led the LNP 52 per cent to 48 per cent on a two party preferred basis. Jobs confidence marked a key aspect of the upcoming election as the Gold Coast lost five per cent of its workforce between March and September this year, while employment in Brisbane dropped 4.

Queensland isn't in a hard lockdown like Victoria is, but the state still has a higher unemployment rate, which has increased by 1.3% during the coronavirus.

Good. We don't need the LNP destroying the state with their bullshit.

A vote for QLD Labor will be a vote for future Victorian style lockdown.

Who wants to make a bet? she will increase restrictions once elected again?
