Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has been seen cuddling koala’s at a Queensland zoo as her deputy, Steven Miles, ramps up the rhetoric against the LNP, comparing the party’s economic plan to children’s story ‘The Magic Pudding’. Mr Miles said Labor’s economic plan was “detailed and costed” in contrast to the LNP’s plan which he compared to children’s storybook ‘The Magic Pudding’ by Norman Lindsay. “I can reveal the LNP’s secret plan. It’s been around a while now.

However, Deputy Opposition Leader Tim Mander hit back at Mr Miles, describing the Labor politician as “an embarrassment to the state of Queensland”. The state election campaign has reached the halfway mark as both leaders target undecided voters in the southeast of the state. However, the latest Newspoll released hours before pre-polling begins has given Labor Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk the edge over Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington.

AnnastaciaMP Looks who’s talking.....the only state government that has not produced a budget for this year....to scared to really show how bad things are before the election.

AnnastaciaMP '....public sector job and spending cuts are the LNP’s only option to balance budget in four years as Queensland election looms' Sounds like it's the Campbell Newman plan but no electricity asset sale. Lie, then sell assets in year 2 of 4 🤔 Obvious.

AnnastaciaMP Labor’s has had 5 yrs to demonstrate its economic plan. Hardly a roaring success. Miles is an embarrassment and he is our deputy.

AnnastaciaMP These grubs have no economic plan other than to spend money they don’t have!, so very sad the people of qld don’t see this.

AnnastaciaMP We’re paying for this CHILD ! This is the quality we get for our money. DISGRACEFUL StevenJMiles, GROW UP !

Queensland LNP facing criticism over social media posts | Sky News AustraliaLNP Mundingburra candidate Glenn Doyle has defended himself – claiming no one is more supportive of women than he is – after old social media posts were released in which he appeared to call into question women’s education. \n\nOne of the posts – which was released by Deputy Premier Steven Miles – featured a video questioning whether a married woman should seek further education. \n\nMr Doyle shared the post a few years ago with the caption “more research is definitely needed”. \n\nHe also posted a selfie with One National Leader Pauline Hanson, captioning it “breakfast with the next prime minister of Australia”. \n\nAsked about the posts on Thursday, Mr Doyle said he didn’t know what the reporter was talking about, before denying it.\n\n“You would not find somebody who is more supportive of women than me in the workplace, in education, in every possible way,” he said. \n\nOpposition Leader Deb Frecklington also stated she did not support what was contained in the posts. \n\n“Absolutely I don’t support that, no one would support that. I’m an educated woman standing right before you at a university,” Ms Frecklington said. \n Frecklington would be the weakest Premier QLD ever elected if she got in,one moment she wants to keep border closed, the next she wants to open them, as Anna palaszczuk said when asked if she wanted Albanese to campaign with her: “unlike Deb,I don’t need someone holding my hand” Dr. Li-Meng Yan shows the evidence in her two reports that are not long and everyone can read, the coronavirus is manufactured and spread intentionally by the Chinese Communist Party.

Concept of an ‘idiocracy’ is growing in Australia | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Gary Hardgrave says the concept of an “idiocracy” is growing and evolving before the very eyes of Australians as politicians seek their own importance as opposed to wanting to advance the lives of the people.\n\n“It’s always the battle for ideas that advances any society, we have distraction these days from such discussion,” Mr Hardgrave said.\n\n“People just can’t really care anymore and many have just given up and gone quiet.\n\n“It doesn’t really help us when people are not encouraged to think, to question, to dwell on whether or not our leaders and those who are talking to us through the media and other forums are in fact really wanting to advance all our lives or just simply make themselves very important.\n\n“This concept of an idiocracy is growing and evolving before our very eyes.”\n Gary_Hardgrave Pretty sure it was NOFX, a left leaning band that sung 'idiots are taking over'. Sky News has no business talking about intelligence while loyally and blindly supporting the Liberals. It's all show to fool gullible people. Gary_Hardgrave How many hosts have got? Bigger than the IPA and just as useless. Gary_Hardgrave NewsCorp is the idiocracy.

Victoria’s ‘boneheaded government’ refuses to listen to expert opinion | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Rita Panahi says Victoria’s “boneheaded backward government” refuses to listen to any expert opinion regarding the damage which draconian lockdowns are having on more than 5 million Victorians.\n\nMs Panahi pointed to an open letter penned by over 500 local doctors who have urged Premier Daniel Andrews to end the lockdown.\n\nThe letter read, “The current restrictions are unnecessary, disproportionate and must be lifted. The response to the virus will cause more deaths and result in far more negative health effects than the virus itself.”\n\n“Despite all those expert opinions from some of the world’s leading infectious diseases experts including professors from Stanford, Oxford and Harvard University … sadly that knowledge seems to have bypassed the Dan Andrews government,” Ms Panahi said.\n\n“They are still operating under the misconception that we are dealing with the Black Death.”\n RitaPanahi Good work work experience kid tweet writer. Although making Rita sound like an idiot is easy, it makes me happy on a Friday night. Cheers. 🤣😂🤣 RitaPanahi Expert view from a biased so called self journo? No thanks.
