Sky News host Kieran Gilbert says the The ACT Labor Party would consider themselves “in the box seat” amid the territory election which is seeing the Labor Party has eight seats, the Greens have one, the Liberal Party six while 10 are undecided.

“Based on the numbers, the early numbers, and the fact that the Liberals have actually got swings against them in four of the five constituencies, Labor would consider themselves in the box seat to be re-elected for a sixth straight term,” Mr Gilbert said.

Queensland Labor act like ‘parents instead of government’ | Sky News AustraliaSky News contributor Daisy Cousens says she is “sick to death” of the rhetoric used by the Queensland Labor Party talking about the easing of COVID-19 restrictions as a privilege rather than a right.\n\n“It is the most condescending draconian sort of attitude and you see it all the way through their (Queensland Labor’s) rhetoric,” Ms Cousens told Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.\n\n“They have this idea that government should be like a parent, that’s why they go on and on about how ‘we need to protect Queenslanders and we’re saving lives and that’s why we’ve shut the border’.\n\n“Sorry, that’s the job of parents to look after children, that’s not what the role of government should be.\n\n“And certainly the government easing restrictions and giving us basic freedom is not some sort of reward for goodness sake, freedom is the default state, if you take it away then that’s an abomination.”\n DaisyCousens That guy has a head you just wanna panel beat.
