ANALYSIS: Labor's lack of Brisbane campaigning does not augur well for the LNP

Tellingly, Ms Palaszczuk so far has only spent two days campaigning in the state capital — three days if you count the Caboolture-Sunshine Coast corridor seat of Pumicestone.

Further north, Labor's chances of picking up seats diminish, although the party is also talking up its chances in Bundaberg. Nonetheless, both parties agree there are at least four vulnerable Labor seats in the north — Barron River, Thuringowa, Mundingburra and Townsville. And because Labor only has a two-seat majority, the next fortnight will be crucial.

Queensland LNP facing criticism over social media posts | Sky News AustraliaLNP Mundingburra candidate Glenn Doyle has defended himself – claiming no one is more supportive of women than he is – after old social media posts were released in which he appeared to call into question women’s education. \n\nOne of the posts – which was released by Deputy Premier Steven Miles – featured a video questioning whether a married woman should seek further education. \n\nMr Doyle shared the post a few years ago with the caption “more research is definitely needed”. \n\nHe also posted a selfie with One National Leader Pauline Hanson, captioning it “breakfast with the next prime minister of Australia”. \n\nAsked about the posts on Thursday, Mr Doyle said he didn’t know what the reporter was talking about, before denying it.\n\n“You would not find somebody who is more supportive of women than me in the workplace, in education, in every possible way,” he said. \n\nOpposition Leader Deb Frecklington also stated she did not support what was contained in the posts. \n\n“Absolutely I don’t support that, no one would support that. I’m an educated woman standing right before you at a university,” Ms Frecklington said. \n Frecklington would be the weakest Premier QLD ever elected if she got in,one moment she wants to keep border closed, the next she wants to open them, as Anna palaszczuk said when asked if she wanted Albanese to campaign with her: “unlike Deb,I don’t need someone holding my hand” Dr. Li-Meng Yan shows the evidence in her two reports that are not long and everyone can read, the coronavirus is manufactured and spread intentionally by the Chinese Communist Party.
