Senzo Meyiwa murder-accused pointed out traditional healer they consulted with, court hears

The Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Friday heard that Muzi Sibiya was booked out of Villieria police station in Pretoria so he could point out the traditional healer he consulted with before and after he allegedly killed Senzo Meyiwa in October 2014.

Sibiya, Bongani Ntanzi, Mthobisi Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Fisokuhle Ntuli are on trial for Meyiwa's murder. They face charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition. The court is holding a trial-within-a-trial for the State and the defence to lead evidence on the admissibility of confession statements allegedly made by Ntanzi and Sibiya.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
