Just to be clear. Customers have choices. I suggest if a product is imported from China the customer uses other products from Countries that don't have a 25% tariffs applied to their products. It's not complicated people.

Avoid tariffs ? Buy American product 0% tariffs. or non-tariffs country.

We may pay increased prices. But with these price points American companies may be able to compete again. Protectionist policy, yes. But necessitated by the Fed's inflationary policy.

So suck up to China is the choice?

We do. Companies aren't going to soak up that cost, they're going to pass it along as increased prices. And when the tariffs go away, they won't lower their prices back down.
