9% over last year—which is virtually flat after adjusting for inflation, according to new data from recruiting firm Korn Ferry. The 2019 starter-salary average is 20% higher than what 2009 college graduates saw as they entered a recession-wracked job market, an increase that’s on-par with wage growth in the broader U.S. workforce.

Got 2 21 yr olds working for me getting PAID to learn HVAC trade (no loans no debt)will make 60k this year in a year or 2 they will make 80-100k and will be able to get a job anywhere in the country whether the economy is up or down-maybe college isn’t what it’s cracked up to be

Better analysis would be to examine the majors of the graduates. Not much future for Art History majors, or for that matter, Journalism majors! If we continue to feed our children BS about the so-called 'Greater-Purpose' instead of relevant skills!
