Some local lawmakers and candidates are heading back to New York after taking cover in Israel over the weekend.

The conflict in Israel is triggering strong reactions from politicians across the country. FOX 5 NY's Morgan McKay has the details.is announcing that the state has activated its intelligence center with state police to keep an eye on any online threats.
