Egg prices, in particular, have experienced, peaking at $4.82 per dozen in January 2023. Although prices had begun to decline, they have since risen again, hovering just under $3.00 per dozen as of February. With the current outbreak, further price hikes are a likely possibility.that the impact on milk supply is expected to be minimal claiming the milk loss from infected cows is “too limited to have a major impact on supply.
