Moreover, the same survey conducted by CouponBirds underscores the reliance of service workers on tips, including restaurant servers, hairdressers, and cab drivers. Six in ten of these workers rely on tips for over 30% of their income, with an average weekly earnings of approximately $290 from tips alone.
