Several racers finish the .5k race hosted by The River 97.3, beer in hands, to support the Harrisburg River Rescue. "It's a race for the rest of us," Glenn Hamilton, morning show host and program director of The River 97.3, said.Instead of the typical 5-kilometer race, which is equivalent to about 3.1 miles. The participants of this race in Harrisburg Saturday only had to traverse a third of a mile, or roughly 1,640 feet to reach the finish line.

“It’s something fun that everyone can do, from the fittest person to people in wheelchairs and with canes,” Glenn Hamilton, program director and morning show host with The River 97.3, said.
