Greene categorized his film as being “real, raw, and heartbreaking,” as the documentary highlights six Harrisburg mothers telling the stories of what led up to the killings of their sons. The victims ages ranged between 16 and 25. Their stories took place between 2014 and 2021. Some of the cases Greene profiled in “Our Boys” have not been solved.The earliest story mentioned took place in 2002, when Anthony Richardson Jr. was shot and killed at age 17 in Harrisburg.
