One year on since the tragic death of TV legend Paul O’Grady, his iconic show For The Love of Dogs will once again be returning to our screens, this time with This Morning and GBBO star Alison Hammond at the helm. The show, which follows the day to day running of Battersea Dogs and Cats home as it tries to find forever homes for countless animals in need, was previously hosted by Paul for 11 years, and even counted Alison among it’s regular viewers up until his death.
The series, which officially kicks off on Tuesday 16 April, will introduce viewers to a number of different dogs that have found their way to the centre for a variety of reasons, and will also see Alison quickly learn to wrestle with the urge to re-home all of the dogs herself! "I can’t wait to share the joy of their searches for new loving forever homes and hopefully make lots of furry friends of my own along the way!”
"We can't wait to welcome back the series with Alison; there will be all the fun and warmth that our viewers have come to expect whilst continuing to showcase the wonderful and important work done by the incredible team at Battersea.”
