Suzanne Gunn from Wallyford took a 'sudden downturn' over Christmas when she went to hospital for return procedures, and leaves behind a young daughter.

A Scots mum has died unexpectedly after auto-immune disease complications, leaving behind a young daughter.

Suzanne's close friend Irene Grant said: "Suzanne was just such a bubbly person and she never let her illness impact her. She was fed through a tube for about 15 years and wasn’t getting the medication she needed and that’s how she had to live throughout all these years. "She's left her daughter Bailey behind who is only 12-years-old. It's just so sad because for around 20 years, Suzanne was paying private rent, she really could not find anywhere and in October last year, she got the keys to a council house and was just so excited, the timing of it all has just been so sad for everyone."

"They topped up her blood on Christmas Eve and was told that she could come home for Christmas Day and of course that didn't happen. She took a sudden downturn. Top news stories today Irene said: "I run the Clark's Concert Party which started in 1959 and I was in it as a child myself. Suzanne's whole family have been involved in it over the years, her dad was involved in it, her big sister and Suzanne herself.
