Quimbao logs triple-double as La Salle downs NU for third straight win

Quimbao notched 17 points 14 assists, and 11 rebounds as he became the first player to record a triple-double in UAAP men's basketball since UP Fighting Maroon CJ Cansino, then playing for UST, dropped 20 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists on October 28, 2018.

Yes, Quimbao, who also logged four steals, made the feat exactly five years after Cansino did it against UE which UST beat, 79-68.Quimbao and the third seed Green Archers thus improved to 6-3 and put an end to the 5-game winning run of the second-running Bulldogs, who dropped to 7-2.
