JOHOR BARU: The compliance rate with the movement control order (MCO) in Johor has seen a slight increase as of Sunday (March 29).

State Health and Environment Committee chairman R. Vidyananthan said that the compliance rate with the MCO in Johor has gone up by 0.33% to 96.4% on Sunday compared to only 96.07% the day before.

"In fact, two districts in the state, Iskandar Puteri and Kota Tinggi, recorded an average compliance rate below 95%," he said in a statement released Monday . On the areas affected by the enhanced MCO, Vidyananthan said that aid had been distributed to residents through the Kluang district disaster management committee."The Johor Fire and Rescue department as well other state and federal government agencies will work together to disinfect the area, especially places with higher risk of infection," he said.
