Jorge Martin takluk GP Thailand

BURIRAM: Pelumba Sepanyol Jorge Martin menjuarai perlumbaan MotoGP Thailand sekali gus merapatkan jurang 13 mata dengan pendahulu keseluruhan Francesco Bagnaia yang menduduki tempat ketiga.

Bagnaia bagaimanapun diberi kemenangan di tempat kedua selepas pelumba Afrika Selatan, Brat Binder dikenakan penalti turun satu kedudukan selepas melakukan kesalahan pada pusingan terakhir. Ketiga-tiga pelumba itu saling memintas antara satu sama lain, sebelum Martin yang menunggang bersama pasukan Pramac-Ducati mendahului dua saingan terdekatnya itu pada babak terakhir perlumbaan.Pelumba Sepanyol itu bermula cemerlang tanpa menghadapi gangguan tayar walaupun dicabar sengit Binder yang menunggang KTM dan Bagnaia mewakili factory-Ducati.

Kesemua pelumba akan meneruskan saingan di Litar Sepang dalam tempoh dua minggu lagi sebelum ke Qatar dan Valencia bulan depan. – AFP
