Iran dismisses accusations by the United States that it was behind attacks on Saudi oil plants that risk disrupting global energy supplies.

"Everybody should know that all American bases and their aircraft carriers in a distance of up to 2,000 kilometres around Iran are within the range of our missiles," the semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted commander Amirali Hajizadeh as saying.

Aramco gave no timeline for output resumption but said on early Sunday it would give a progress update in around 48 hours. A source close to the matter said the return to full oil capacity could take"weeks, not days".

If people didn't know any better, they'd almost be forgiven for thinking the United States of Israel was perpetrating attacks, and wrongly blaming them on Iran as a pretext to war. Luckily history shows governments would never employ this tactic....oh wait.

Just waiting for the day US claims Iran has weapons of mass destruction
