Good luck with the diplomacy angle. Our pretend Prime Minister has already gone out of his way to say he wants to play 2nd fiddle to the US war machine obliterating Iran as their next oil victim🙄

It is very sad that Iran locks up clearly innocent and naive westerners. Not sure how that marries up with Islamic teaching on compassion HassanRouhani JZarif

Kylie Moore-Gilbert named as woman sentenced to 10 years' jail in IranThe Melbourne Uni academic was working as a lecturer and researcher for the university's Asia Institute specialising in Middle East politics who goes driving around Iran sight seeing deserves the consequences . These women aren’t “detainees” or “prisoners”. They are hostages to be used as bargaining chips. For example, with respect to freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. Attractive, educated western - especially white- women have high trophy value in the Islamic world. I wouldn't go near the place.
