The Fair Work Commission upheld Ticketek 's decision that the manager had to take annual leave for his trip instead of working remotely. The manager claimed that this refusal forced him to resign after 16 years with the company. The ruling comes at a time when the commission has recognized the benefits of office work.

Prior to his trip, the manager had been working from home four days a week due to a traffic accident
