Higgins is sick of the Liberals: Richard Di Natale | Sky News AustraliaGreens candidate Jason Ball hopes to steal the affluent inner-Melbourne seat of Higgins, currently held by outgoing Minister for Women Kelly O'Dwyer, with the help of his party leader Richard Di Natale. \n\nWhile Higgins is traditionally a safe seat, held on a 7.4 per cent margin against the Greens and a buffer of 10.1 per cent against Labor, Senator Di Natale said on Saturday that voters are sick of climate inaction.\n\nHe says, ‘lifetime Liberal voters’ feel like their vote hasn’t counted in the seat, so they’re turning to the Greens ‘for the very first time’.\n\n\n\n What a truly noble quest A white male taking a seat from a female doesn’t help fight the patriarchy. Greens should forfeit in every seat where a white male is against a female incumbent. You know, to promote more women in parliament like they say they want.
