NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb has joined Sky News Australia to talk about the Wakeley church stabbing, Bondi Junction incident and the alleged murder of Molly Ticehurst.
Five teenagers have been charged in relation to the alleged stabbing of a bishop at Christ the Good Shepherd church in Wakeley two weeks ago. “I did say after the Wakeley church attack that he acted alone, and so at that time he acted alone," Commissioner Webb told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
“Ongoing investigation has revealed connections to that person and as has been identified, we’ve arrested five young men – before the courts, and so I can say very little about that.Commissioner Webb said the police will allege in court there was another attack being planned. "That’s what we will allege at court, and as I said, they are before the court, they’re before the children’s court, so there’s not a lot we can say – but we have alleged in the facts that there was a group planning a future event.”
