Sky News host Steve Price has criticised the Home Affairs Minister s latest media appearance, describing her performance in Tuesday’s press conference where she was grilled about border protection issues as a “trainwreck”.on Tuesday where she was grilled by journalists and forced to defend the government’s commitment to Operation Sovereign Borders after another illegal boat arrival was detected in Western Australia last week.

"We’ve had three boats got to the actual coastline, people wandering around an air force base in remote north-western Australia, the latest one … from China.Mr Price then issued a stern message to the Home Affairs Minister. According to reporting from the Guardian, zero illegal boat arrivals were recorded in 2021, seven in 2022 and four in 2023.
