Can’t believe what this country is coming to removing all rights from ppl ! When or how will this ever stop!!

Neo-marxisms: LGTB, climate change, BLM, human rights, refugees,.... The world is tired of this new wave of neo-marxists... Australia doesnt need to buy this external agenda. We are more than this..

Remember at the start of coronavirus when they had all those funny memes saying “join the march against COVID-19” with pictures of massive protests and we all laughed because the idea of protesting during a pandemic seemed ridiculous? Those were good times.

Why are refugee activists always the most selfish c**ts ?

I'm sure there are more people in Brisbane than policy officers. Everyone get out there and outnumber them

Since when is selfish illegal lol?

This isn’t about showing how much they care about others. It’s about themselves and their need to be needed. If they truly cared about the vulnerable they would be obeying health directives.

Why do people keep arguing about the masks. Would you go to a surgery knowing your doctor and the team WON'T WEAR THEIR MASKS? Eyes smile too. Just try to be really positive.

Mandatory detention ... simple . Masks are all we’ve got as a protective measure . Give them all 14 days in a cell so they learn that with freedom comes responsibility 🦋

Maybe we could try humane treatment of refugees.

Come off it. 5000 ppl can go to the football. This is a joke.

But footy games are ok?!

put 'em into the empty cricket ground and afterwards put on the bus and send to the outback detention centre paid by them.

Make them all go into quarantine at their own cost after the protest.

So it's only okay for politicians, religious leaders, mass corporate warmongers and the industrial military complex to be selfish. They intentionally created this virus and police obey criminals rather than apprehending them. Human rights abuses is a crime.

Queensland Premier considers court action to stop Brisbane protestQueensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk considers court action to block a planned Saturday protest against refugee detention, saying it could take the state backwards amid the coronavirus pandemic. AnnastaciaMP COVID19Aus CovidQLD If protesters are outdoors and wear masks the risk of infection by COVID19 is very low. We know this from looking back at BLM protests. Indoor restaurants, pubs, schools are much more dangerous. Queensland Premier, the hypocritical Hitler wannabe allowed 30,000 BLM protesters in June but this protest she wants court action? 🖕🖕 Probably, attending BLM protest can be the miracle covid cure! Premier is correct: stop the protests. When will protesters learn that they are generating huge amount of bad will, NOT support? Opposite to what they should be wanting. Outdoor risk is lower but still there. No different to big footy crowds or BBQs. Protesters are covidiots

Pressure on Palaszczuk to stop Qld asylum seeker protest | Sky News AustraliaQueensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is under pressure to launch legal action to stop a planned mass protest in the heart of Brisbane on Saturday.\n\nAt least 3000 people have shown interest in attending a rally on the Story Bridge, protesting the treatment of asylum seekers held in a Kangaroo Point hotel. \n\nMs Palaszczuk on Thursday left her options open on whether to have the courts rule the protest illegal, the same way the NSW Government did against Black Lives Matter rallies in Sydney. \n\nDiscussions were underway with police to consider what action to take to avoid blocking one of Brisbane’s main road arteries.\n\n“Now is not the time to have mass protests,” the Premier said. \n\nShe said the rally had the potential to take Queensland backward in its effort to control the spread of coronavirus.\n\nPolice said any protester trying to shut down the Story Bridge would be arrested.\n\nOpposition leader Deb Frecklington said Ms Palaszczuk had a responsibility to keep Queenslanders safe by preventing the rally.\n\n'Allowing the protest to go ahead on Saturday would be reckless and irresponsible,' the LNP leader said.\n\n“Allowing the mass protest to take place on the same day Annastacia Palaszczuk is shutting the border would be completely hypocritical.' \n\nImage: News Corp Australia\n\n AnnastaciaMP That doesnt fit in with the ALP free for all manifesto. Brisbane police officer recovering after allegedly being stabbed in the faceA Brisbane senior constable is recovering in hospital after allegedly being stabbed in the face and a Mount Gravatt man remains in hospital after being shot in the abdomen in Brisbane's south overnight. I don’t think you need to state “allegedly” - either they were stabbed in the face or not. I think you’ll find the facts as to whether they were stabbed in the face or not are pretty settled. They will however allege it was a certain individual that carried out the act. I’m guess I’ll not be alone in requesting you please use the word appropriately. stupid heading sounds as if you don't believe the police version..shame on you for believing the criminal more than police recovering in hospital.

Brisbane refugee protesters 'putting the lives of innocent people at risk' | Sky News AustraliaQueensland Health Minister Steven Miles has issued an unwavering warning to protesters planning to rally for refugee rights in Brisbane tomorrow. \n\n“To people who are concerned about the treatment of refugees, I understand your concern, I appreciate your concern, however your concern is with decisions of the federal government, not with Queenslanders whose health could be put at risk if these protests go ahead,” he said. \n\nMr Miles said if Queensland continued to record zero cases of community transmission this weekend, the chief health officer would lift restrictions on aged care visits. \n\n“That’s what’s at stake here; whether hundreds of Queenslanders can have their families visit them in their nursing homes or not,” he said. \n\n“The decision to breach health directions and put that at risk is not selfless, it is selfish. \n\n“They should not think for a moment that they are part of one of the world’s great protest movements, those protesters put their own lives at risk, not the lives of others or the lives of innocent people.” \n\nMr Miles said the government would not allow protesters to proceed tomorrow. \n\nQueensland Police also warned officers would fine anyone caught breaching health directions by protesting. \n\nImage: AP StevenJMiles Victoria has it worse than refugees StevenJMiles What is wrong with these idiots StevenJMiles
