Queensland Government loans Ardent Leisure $70 million to reopen Gold Coast theme parks

Dreamworld's parent company says the Queensland Government will loan them almost $70 million to keep its Gold Coast theme parks operating during the coronavirus pandemic.Ardent Leisure says it is already preparing to reopen its theme parksIn a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange, Ardent Leisure announced it had received the multi-million-dollar, three-year financial assistance package from the Government.

Both parks have been closed for months as operators waited on more information about Queensland's borders.
