Refereeing crew chief James Capers says of the incident: He dunked it so hard that the net carried it back over the rim a second time, so in fact it did clear the net and should have been a successful field goal.

The Houston Rockets have lost a double-overtime thriller to the San Antonio Spurs, but the team is reportedly hoping the league will change it to a victory after the referees admitted blowing a call. The dunk would have given the Rockets a 104-89 lead, but San Antonio came back to win in double overtime

The head referee said the Rockets had a chance to challenging the call but used up their 30-second window protestingThe play in question occurred on Wednesday with 7:50 left in regulation time, when the Rockets' James Harden dunked so hard on a breakaway the ball appeared to not make it through the net.

The dunk would have given the Rockets a 104-89 lead. San Antonio came back to tie the game in regulation, before winning in double overtime."When the play happened, Harden goes in for a dunk, and then the ball appears to us to pop back through the net," Capers said. "When that happens, that is basket interference. To have a successful field goal, it must clear the net. We have since come in here and looked at the play.

Australia has a 'real problem' with 'hardened terrorists' | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says the London Bridge terror “atrocity” has shown lawmakers that “hardened terrorists” can’t just be “released back into the community” after their jail term has finished.\n\nIt follows recent comments by Jeremy Corbyn saying convicted terrorists should 'not necessarily' automatically serve their full prison sentences. \n\nThe Labour leader's remarks came in the wake of Friday's London Bridge terror attack, which left two people dead. \n\nThe perpetrator - Usman Khan - was a former prisoner - convicted of plotting to bomb the London Stock Exchange and had been freed from jail for almost a year when the attack took place.\n\nThe Sky News host said she has been “highly critical” of the effectiveness of deradicalisation programs for convicted terrorists. \n\nMs Credlin noted the “increasing evidence” showing few released terrorists “really repent of their crimes or drop the evil ideology behind them”. \n\n“So, what are we going to do about hardened terrorists, who still believe in death to the infidel, once their sentences are over?” Ms Credlin said. \n\n“So far the only thing we know that works is to keep them locked up”.\n\nImage: Getty Really Ms Credlin, who'd have ever thought that...
