Sky News host Peta Credlin says the London Bridge terror “atrocity” has shown lawmakers that “hardened terrorists” can’t just be “released back into the community” after their jail term has finished. Credlin

Sky News host Peta Credlin says the London Bridge terror “atrocity” has shown lawmakers that “hardened terrorists” can’t just be “released back into the community” after their jail term has finished. It follows recent comments by Jeremy Corbyn saying convicted terrorists should "not necessarily" automatically serve their full prison sentences. The Labour leader's remarks came in the wake of Friday's London Bridge terror attack, which left two people dead.

The perpetrator - Usman Khan - was a former prisoner - convicted of plotting to bomb the London Stock Exchange and had been freed from jail for almost a year when the attack took place. The Sky News host said she has been “highly critical” of the effectiveness of deradicalisation programs for convicted terrorists. Ms Credlin noted the “increasing evidence” showing few released terrorists “really repent of their crimes or drop the evil ideology behind them”.

Remove there family jewelry. All of it. That will stop anyman anywhere anytime. Man's man that is.

Capital Punishment for these is the solution.

Conservatives will have to admit that their changes to legislation with the Parole and the LASPO Act 2012 under a Cameron Government, were wrong?

.......and along with their families can't and shouldn't be repatriated back to Australia.

The hardened terrorists of ISIS committed mass rape, mass murder, ethnic 'cleansing' and resurrected slavery as a function of their Islamist economy. They have been defeated by overwhelming military US force, BUT only temporarily! There is NO place for them in Australia.

Another penetrating evaluation of the bleeding obvious from Girl Friday. She’s so smart Morrison ought appoint her his chief of staff.....

Credlin Lib back roomer wants to harden laws for law abiding citizens like the right has been doing already... Fact...6 people have died in Aus in terror type incidents in 30 yrs. .... Fact over 3000 have died in domestic violence in that time. It's all BS. Terrorist shmerrorist.

Cheers Peta. Thank the living Christ we have Sky News to dish out advice to the rest of us!!

Remember leopards and spots ...

Ideally people who come from certain countries and who adhere to a certain radical belief system wouldn't be allowed in the country in the first place

Yes, because our governments are weak and they keep letting more terrorists in.

Peta Credlin rocket scientist

Credlin? The one whose “expertise” brought down a Prime Minister? I’m all ears .....

And Pets Credlin is the best Political comentater in the country in my opinion. I haven't got much brains but this is all pretty clear to me. Australia just cop the fine and don't vote. And that is a peaceful protest , don't super glue your ass to the ballot paper or maybe

One bullet to the back of the head for each one of them. Cheap and effective! You're welcome

Well Kristina Kennelly wants to bring nut jobs from ISIS back aren't we lucky she's not pulling the strings in Australia. Be Warned.

Really Ms Credlin, who'd have ever thought that... (sigh)

HECS-style system 'could help save farmers' | Sky News AustraliaAustralian economist and academic Bruce Chapman says “everybody wants to help people suffering through the appalling drought” but the Morrison Government must consider “policies that work”. \n\nMr Chapman, who devised the Higher Education Contribution Loan Scheme for student in Australia, called on the Morrison Government to implement a 'HECS-style' loan scheme to help drought-affected farmers.\n\n“The thing about the HECS-system, which is applied to university students... is that it's a debt that's defined by the capacity to pay,” Mr Chapman told Sky News host Chris Kenny. \n\n“So, in the future if you don't have the money, you don't have to pay,” he said. \n\n “When things recover, then you pay a bit more'. \n\nMr Chapman was critical of suggested government grants or loans with subsidised interest rates, as not being an effective method to help the nation’s struggling farmers. \n\n“The loan systems that the government was offering with interest rate subsidies still had the very unfortunate characteristic that they had to be paid in the future no matter what your circumstances were”. \n\nSky News Host Alan Jones has, in the past, made repeated calls for the Morrison Government to introduce a farmer's HECS-style arrangement. \n\nImage: Getty new dams for next drought maybe..
