Shadow Finance Minister Katy Gallagher says the government needs to “acknowledge that there are problems in the economy”.

Governor of the Reserve Bank, Philip Lowe said “The economy has been through a very soft patch over the past year, but it is actually gradually improving”.

Ms Gallagher told Sky News there has been “significant negative economic data since the election” and Labor’s greatest “concern is that growth is the lowest it’s been in a decade”. “The government hasn’t really outlined an economic plan for Australia” and there are steps it could be taking “that will improve confidence in the economy,” she said. SenatorWong Shadow minister don't run the country don't have the data just run on negative comments. Boring Labor continue to down beat the economy at every opportunity. How can you trust them they were going to tax Ozzies 360 billion if they won. Thank goodness they lost, expect negatives

The cycle must complete! There are no short cuts!

SenatorWong Agree !but propose some practical option ..don’t just do a Greta and yelp at the world 😡😡😡

SenatorWong Dream on Katy, they will never acknowledge that and if they do it will be Lanor's fault.

The only issue with the economy, is the size of the debt left by the Labor Party. This and the B..LS..T programs that require money to be put into them.

That's a laugh coming from labor

But morrison is only answerable to jesus. He acknowledged economy issues with this imaginary friend.

By problems she means we are going into recession next year and there is no surplus 😂😂😂how good are liberal recessions 😂 😂 😂

SenatorWong Typical labor union propaganda. There are problems across the world economies. Australia is not exempt from these influences. Stop misleading vulnerable people with your lies deceit and corruption.

well that's a ' LIGHT BULB MOMENT ' HUH ?🤪

Economies reflect the output of all industries and government/s intervention in the processes. Put simply, lots of jobs & minimal govt intervention/taxes = Good Economy. Oz has minimal jobs, over regulation, unfair taxes, gross foreign aid, dumb politicians, & UN interference.

😂👍

good you are not in government, can't imagine if won the last election.

SenatorWong Both governments need to acknowledge they have problems in governing our country

SenatorWong What!? Lol they don't know what you are speaking of, they have all been coached in propaganda to the opposite.... They are the Good Economic Managers lololololol

What a brain 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This ‘sharp as a Bowling Ball ‘ excuse for a politician still doesn’t realise that the whole world economy isn’t exactly thriving. ....except for triumphant Trumps US.

There are always problems in the economy by definition.

SenatorWong They've completely blown the budget,we're suffering for it & they Need to Get Out of Power b4 things become irrepairable.

And of couse Labor are experts on the economy,,,, not.

This egoistic government is ignoring warnings and criticism from scientists,International monetary fund that slashes growth forecasts for Australia. They stick with their lies that they are best government we ever had, against every warning that soon we will be third world countr

This is from the clowns that wanted to put us into more debt and raise the taxes $387 billion.

Labor shouldn't even pronounce....Economy and/or Immigration auspol

The Coalition needs to face up to the fact that living standards have been falling for five years under its watch.

There are always problems within the economy. Any economy. The question is who is more capable with a proven track record on how to fix them? Certainly NOT the Labor party. LNP have handled it before and will do so again. Labor just need to get out of the way.

Says the clowns that almost sent us broke when they were last in...

A surplus and there is somrhing wrong with the economy. When will they wake up to the fact that a surplus and austerity can be bad for the economy?

The opposition should stop talking it down then , instead they try to score political points.
