Thank goodness for less political correctness and sheer common sense!

Gender quotas embarrass all involved, plain and simple, For women who get a high level job the last thing they should be worried about is 'Did I get this job because I'm a woman'

Well why is it happening then 🤔

But Keneally plibersek wong are quota women.. Quantity does not equal quality and those women are Bottom of barrel quality

Absolutely right. 'Quotas' are ridiculous, people want to have a job that they earn by competing with others. Gender quotas absolute leftists crap.

kelliekelly23 About time! We all think it now sadly , who is the “ quota token” at the table ?

Exactly

Well said! Everybody should be selected based on their merits. That’s how we get the best of the best!

Quotas are bullshit. We need to shout down people who support these ideas

I would be devastated if I got a job because I'm a woman. I have a lot more going for me than that! The problem with quotas is that even if a woman is the best person for the job, no one will ever be sure if she was hired on merit or because of her gender

ThisisRaysBlog And yet they she is, put in place by Labor's other quotas

Quotas will stay. They need warm and fuzzy stories and quotas give them that. You can’t have children and expect you’ll have the same career opportunities as childless People.

A friend who is a Qld cop told me that recruitment drives have failed to attract 50% women so training intakes have been cancelled. Good to know police numbers are lower than required because of a quota policy.

Yet here we are with quotas in virtual everything. From the gender pay gap to stem, from bbc to mps all women selection. Its difficult in this culture to see any position is gained by merit. Equality of opportunity over equality of outcome.

And yet reality suggests that’s the reason she has the top job in the first place ... gender quota promotions are now just accepted even in front of good qualified men to keep the numbers up ... Unfortunately the left and women’s Libs have created this mess!!!

Oh, so the current proportions in no way reflect a boys club.

Thank you. Me neither.

Finally a good police officer in a too position

But that's what 90% of them are soooo....

No self-respecting person wants to be a diversity hire due to their minority status.

EEnuph Well this is some bs reporting lol Whoever gets the job done best is the best person for the job. Nothing to do with gender, so why even bring it up, unless you’re trying to make a point of females having to be superior in the workplace? I don’t get it lol

Hear hear, merit is the only worthwhile gauge.

She will be a pulled in line by the do nothing govt

RitaPanahi Vic pol should learn the lesson.

Women make great leaders and effective managers. Have worked with some outstanding female bosses. None have ever wanted to be part of a quota or that token woman - they wanted it on merit.

RitaPanahi Quotas are insulting and condescending towards the group they aim to help

All talk no action. Sent this link based on some wild promise to introduce meaningful rehab when she got the job. Basket state in a basket country.

How soon will she get the please explain from the Qld Govt?

GemmaTognini 🙌 some one with sense. Merit is all that matters. Best man or woman for the job. Every job.

Sounds like something a quota woman would say

Is there a quota systen in place for TV presenters.

RitaPanahi Aah, that's what sensible leadership feels like.

RitaPanahi GemmaTognini carolinemarcus In my workplace they have quotas and promote on the basis of being female or some kind of minority background. It's a bit annoying but I think it can create a balanced & happier workplace. But for critical jobs it should be best candidate

A real lady.

Well some are

In professions that are over 90% male it strains reason that the top job would go to a woman on merit. It is absurd that in the two most male dominated jobs - by choice not prejudice - police and fire service, have women in the top jobs in London! Of course they’re quota women!

RitaPanahi Sounds like she has balls.

What does that even mean?

I would love to retweet this to KK and Terri Butler, but I've been blocked. 🤔

RitaPanahi Co.....could she herself be a quota woman?

GemmaTognini I think she knows she’s getting a new boss come Oct 17 next year.

RitaPanahi Gender quotas reward those that aren't the best choice.

RitaPanahi YourOldMateJay this is truly a role model for my daughters. Just as I was losing faith in humanity this legend pops up. Never happen in Victoria with the ‘progressives’

RitaPanahi For the first time in history female rights are actually going backwards. All thanks to left wing perverts and especially the hacks working at the ABC

What about being a bike at the academy?

Some senior executive women obviously like the money and power. I’m sure they don’t care if they earned their position or were instead a diversity hire based on them not having a penis.

RitaPanahi Lol come on with this progressive bs

Is she a journo or a talking head? Reporters should do just that; report.

RitaPanahi Unlike KKeneally

Not true, that former politician, now relegated to the status of a trivia question Julia Banks disagrees.

Quotas are condescending for anyone professionally qualified. Only the inept want them

Hope she means what she says. I'm all for equality of opportunity not equality of outcome.
