The family of murdered South Australian man David Lawrence has told convicted killer Wendie-Sue Dent she is "evil" and "heartless" for taking their brother's life to inherit his estate.
The victim's younger brother, Phillip Lawrence, delivered an emotional victim impact statement on behalf of his family in the South Australian Supreme Court on Friday. Refusing to say her name, Mr Lawrence went on to say that Dent had remained in his brother's home for more than a year after he was murdered.
"To ask David for advice would nearly always end up with him volunteering to do the work. He loved helping his family, he loved helping people."His family said he was known for his kindness but was lonely and vulnerable following his partner's death.
