Albanese is stuck in a ‘spending bubble’Treasurer Jim Chalmers needs to “pull his boss aside” and tell him to stop writing cheques, says Sky News host Chris Smith says. “The PM seems way off track, almost in his own little spending bubble. Which of course, is Labor's classic DNA,” Mr Smith said. “The government knows that being so early in their term it can get away with upsetting sectors of the community by cutting plenty of fat. “Jim Chalmers seems to be a conservative treasurer in a Labor government. “If what we're hearing is right, that he'll cut out the waste, but grow the economy too, especially with big ticket numbers, he'll gain a lot of cred out of his first budget.” Chris smith! Hahahahahahahahaha NewsCorpse should just look within when making up bullshit 🙄 Have CryNews been getting calls from the LNPCrimeFamily and LNPCorruptionParty who are advocating for Rinehardt and Gerry Harvey complaining about kickbacks having dried up🙄 You should ‘pull your boss aside’ and tell him to stop making you post this nonsense.

Commodity falls dash surplus hopes: ChalmersAustralia is not expected to return to surplus anytime within the next four years as commodity prices are level off from their recent highs, Jim Chalmers says. I think you need to clarify what 'Australia returning to Surplus' actually means, as you'll find most people assume that it means that Australia has paid off all their debt. What utter crap. There’s a structural deficit that can easily be fixed. It just requires the Lab government to be the first Government in 25 years to act in our sovereign interest, NOT for sovereign wealth looters, population ponzi parasites & global cartels. Labor could u-turn on election promisesSome of Labor’s election promises may be facing the chopping block, as an intensive budget waste audit gets underway. The waste audit will be going through grants and commitments line by line, in order to make space in what Treasurer Jim Chalmers is calling a “bread and butter budget”. Infrastructure Minister Catherine King has acknowledged some programs will be dumped, telling ABC’s Insiders that “some of the things that the previous government funded we’ll fund, some of them we won’t”. The Nationals have indicated they would be opposed to any cuts to regional grants. Treasurer Chalmers to return from United StatesTreasurer Jim Chalmers is returning from the United States from an “eventful pre-budget trip,” Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says. “He was in one of the last meetings Kwasi Kwarteng had as UK Chancellor of the Exchequer before Kwarteng was sacked by Prime Minister Liz Truss in Britain,” Mr Clennell said. “Kwarteng appeared agitated and distracted during the meetings apparently - and some of the speeches at the G20 finance ministers forum must have been uncomfortable for him - given they all stressed having your budget in line with central bank policy, and the UK Chancellor, then UK Chancellor, had gone for some big unscheduled tax cuts. “Our Treasurer met with the Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell just hours after a surprise high annual inflation figure of 8.2 per cent was recorded in the US.” Maintaining high inflation is all part of the control plan making people more reliant on government control and intervention. What was the purpose of the trip ? Intrest rates are heading to 11%soon
