Exclusive: The mother of Julian Assange's children wants to move to Australia with the Wikileaks founder and is seeking Australian citizenship for their two young sons if Assange escapes being extradited to the United States | latikambourke

The mother of Julian Assange's children is seeking Australian citizenship for their sons and has called on Prime Minister Scott Morrison to promise the family would be safe to live in Australia if the WikiLeaks founder escapes being extradited to the United States., Stella Morris said she would love to live in Australia but only if the family's safety was guaranteed.

Julian Assange, centre, with Stella Morris, right, and his Ecuadorian counsel Carlos Poveda, left, in an undated picture supplied by WikiLeaks. The pair had two children — Gabriel, 3, and Max, 18 months — keeping their relationship and growing family a secret from the outside world until earlier this year.

"It was a rational decision, I was 33 at the time and I knew I wanted children and it was faith in our love for each other and the certainty, a feeling that this was right." "I tell my kids that Julian’s a hero and I make him very present, we watch videos of him, they’ve been to the prison.""I don’t want Julian to become a martyr. We’re a family, he’s not a symbol to us. He’s part of ... he’s Daddy. So I just tell them that Daddy’s coming home."

The images of Assange being dragged out of the Knightsbridge enclave looking years older with an overgrown straggly grey beard, moustache and long hair, shocked the world.

latikambourke Just a heads up to Australian friends. Running & hiding from America isn’t really an option, just ask Sadam Hussein & Osama bin Lauden... ooops, never mind.😆

latikambourke Definitely not Australian citizens mother and children. Britain can surely give it’s own citizens protection.

latikambourke Asking the PM to guarantee family's safety? Why not?

latikambourke Please remove the words 'rent-free tenant' from this article. Ecuador's previous govt granted Assange asylum, which he had every right to request, given the USA had a secret indictment waiting for him. MSM said he was 'paranoid' & lacked the 'courage' to go to Sweden!

latikambourke If he doesn't 'escape' extradition the children of JulianAssange could still claim Australian Citizenship tho their mother would have to be his wife I suspect. After the alleged lack of assistance from Australia would he want 2return2 this evilly governed country? smh auspol

‘I’m trying to answer’: PM quizzed on unemployment rate ‘peak’Prime Minister Scott Morrison says it’s “hard to say” whether unemployment will keep rising in Australia as coronavirus restrictions continue to ease and jobs return. Tell the truth. It was actually a stage managed recording from Friday. 1. It wasn't a grilling. 2 It wasn't this morning, it was pre-recorded. 3 He wasn't 'oressed' on the unemployment rate. Apart from getting all the facts wrong, good tweet. It was recorded on Friday. Wet lettuce treatment also. So that's two strikes with your story and I've not even opened it yet.

This is why the fight over the Supreme Court could make the US presidential election even nastierThe potential replacement of the progressive Ruth Bader Ginsburg by a conservative judge could have generational implications for issues like affordable health care and access to abortion. Which just shows how messed up the US is. Justice and Law are supposed to be just that. America has turned justice and law into a partisan issue. They are stuck in the dark ages and it'll be a generation before they emerge from it. Time for the world to turn away from the US. Well, fuck. Why do leftwits always need to bracket 'affordable health care' (or some other universally approved policy) with 'abortion?' Abortion is murder. Democrats want it right up to birth. No, I'm not religious. I just think killing babies is wrong.
