Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the recent outbreak of the deadly coronavirus “sounds apocalyptic,” but “we seem so prone to panic”. theboltreport

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the recent outbreak of the deadly coronavirus “sounds apocalyptic,” but “we seem so prone to panic”.

Mr Bolt said there is “a lot of fake news” circulating online, and “racists have posted fake government alerts to avoid suburbs with lots of Chinese residents”. “Just five Australians have got this coronavirus, and none are seriously ill,” he said. “In Australia, 3,500 people die every year from the flu. Around the world, five million people die of the flu each year. “A real pandemic would look more deadly than this one.

The trick is to know if it IS one or not. Better to err on the positive direction than the other and face massive deaths.

ME: ah, wont this encourage a lot of people to fail to take precautions thereby possibly endangering their lives? ALSO ME: hang on, most of these people will be sky news viewers...

murdochmuppet

Is there no end to the expertise of Bolt? Genetics, religion, history, politics, climate science, bush fires, criminology, medicine, epidemiology.

Yet, you’re worrying about tourism!?!?

It spread 500 times faster than SARS. What have they let out of that lab?

Is Andy an expert? No. WeWantExperts

Do we call him ‘Dr. Bolt’ now?

daveyk317 'A real pandemic would look more deadly than this one.” Oh to have the assured arrogance of the ignorant.

Now Bolt has a medical degree.

Their PM is making a thousand bed hospital in 2 weeks. Our lazy PM like Kenny would cross his fingers a few hopes a prayers and that would be enough . 🙄🙄

Nobody is panicking 😒

Can he go on assignment to China to gauge the panic. Only one way ticket needed.

Oh, so Andrew Bolt is now a medical scientist as well as a climate scientist.

Sky News is like a shitty version of ACA

Didn't he get caught out lying and you still have him working for you fuck im glad I cancelled Foxtel auspol

Absolutely correct, media are already calling it a ‘deadly virus’. As far as I can see over 3k people have the virus and 100 have died, much like influenza. Surely if it was deadly they would all be dead?

🤦‍♂️ Vaccines exist for current flu, none exist for this new one. The death rate looks to be a lot higher than for flu's that we normally get. we don't need to panic but we need to take this seriously

only when masses are dying will you be silent and stop downplaying the seriousness of this!

So many beautiful souls commenting here, wishing Andrew to catch it....Don’t you know what they say about KARMA ? You better watch out.

Bolty talks up the pandemic, global warming and the bushfires. How good is that!!!

Let us not follow the insights of someone whose every other word is 'pshhh'.

Hope he gets it.

He has moved onto medical science now.

What a wiseacre

Tend to agree- None of the confirmed cases OUTSIDE of China in other Countries have died yet (thankfully) & we arent seeing footage inside China of bull-dozers digging Mass graves.

Please send him to Wuhan to conduct further research.

I think it’s the high death rate that causes alarm..

His opinion on this and many subjects should have the caveat “*opinion from a guy with absolutely no knowledge on this subject. Opinion only.” Otherwise, you may as well ask my bus driver about the subject. He’s as qualified as boltthedolt

So my question is, how many have survived the coronavirus? Unofficially there appears to be over 100,000 Chinese that are infected, with social media post's being taken down by big brother who can we truly trust?

Let’s hope Bolt contracts it.

Next thing he'll be saying coronavirus is good for us.

Starting the hastag sendbolttowuhan auspol coronarvirues sendhim

Sky, Murdoch, Bolt all proven liars this week. Anymore factual statements from aboriginal leaders to show us Bolt? You were bottom of the barrel and remain so.

150 ppl a day die in the US of the flu.

Andrew Bolt isn’t an expert on disease control. Or medicine in general. Why are you publishing Andrew Bolt’s opinion as though it is legitimate?

Andrew Bolt and Sky present lies and make shit up. He was proven a liar today

Ah yes - the pandemic and climate change expert Andrew Bolt. Why does anyone listen to him?
