So where would that 100m. After saving it

He is the President, it should be free.

Now they only need to drop the cost with another R120 million. Then they're sharp.

Great act

But Zuma is no longer in office, so I fail to see the relevance of even making that comparison. For a country that's struggling with poor service delivery, and unemployment, inauguration ceremonies shouldn't even be considered.

I pray for the day politicians will be held responsible for the wasteful expenditures whr the taxpayer is forced to pick up the bill. It's immoral as well as disgusting that public servant are living so lavishly at the expense of the public'shard earnings.

Bayanya labs maaan shid

Malini

YOU STILL USING ZUMA'S NAME TO STAY RELEVANT

Give us figures

Why you re complaining now you were given an opportunity to vote out this government what did you? You went to tarvens yodakwa utshwala and you didn't vote now you have mouth to talk

This is what I call propaganda. The real story here is that govt is spending R150million of some party to inaugurate Ramaphosa.

Moretele area or so called Hammankrall has water crisis.....if this money can be directed to this basic human need .....CyrilRamaphosa just food for thought.

kabelodick Why can't they have tea and scones and be done with it

That’s your new dawn , but it’s more like a new yawn with me

FabAcademic Please advise this people.

Inaugurations r a waste of money. VC of UCT, M. Phakeng took the money & paid outstanding fees of +100 students, so they can graduate. ANC people take +R150 million spend it on luxurious elitist celebrations while SAns r drowning in a sea of poverty. Is this a caring government?

As if Zuma charged himself for that inauguration,

How much did Mandela and Mbeki spend?

Zuma is the gold standard of comparison talk of the state of politics in our country. 🙉🙉🙉

Tsek you always propray PresJGZuma as reckless person.

Read the article...more than 100mil less Zuma's one cost 240mil.

how much it cost?

Personally i think they should scrap the traditional inauguration, instead they should take a tv crew with Cyril and co into the heart of an informal settlement, get him to stand in front of the people they have failed for 25 years and swear them in! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

If it was NDZ we will be spending R1bn

Is not less than Zuma but too much like Zuma,a rip off of our tax money

Why vele we have to celebrate haikhona can someone stop this nonsense the country is in crisis

Less votes

Mxm

Niyasdakelwa nina

Do we know how much the actual bill for the even is?

SA is rich but the citizens don't have jobs

There's nothing to celebrate. Times are tough. We should do away with this inauguration period. Go straight and open parliament

It should cost nothing. A shocked and surprised liar being inaugurated by a corrupt and rotten party. Fuck me

That’s nothing why not R1 Billion? It’s not like we have a better use for this money anyway.

Do we really need this inauguration?

R220Mill Less R100Mill = R120 Mill, spitting in the face of the poor..

How much is that exactly?

Unemployment... Poverty.....Blame ANC stupid voters!!

I honestly dont want to know what is the actual bill then. Shameful MYANC CyrilRamaphosa tito_mboweni. Unemployment, inequality & poverty then this 😬😲🙄

These guys talk about 150 MILLION as if it's JUST A PACK OF PEANUTS

Cyril Ramaphosa’s inauguration will cost R100m less than Zuma’sCost-cutting measures also mean the ceremony will take place at Loftus Versfeld instead of at the Union Buildings Notwithstanding, the amount 'budgeted' is still OUTRAGEOUS for a sitting president who is preaching austerity in all spheres of government. Finish & klaar! 😡 Well from the looks of mama NDZ in the pic, we’re saving a lot on bed linen already🤭 Whoopdeedoo! Still in the millions and still unnecessary.

Cyril Ramaphosa's inauguration 'will cost R100m less' than Zuma'sGovernment is planning to spend more than R100m less on the presidential inauguration ceremony of Cyril Ramaphosa than it did on Jacob Zuma's inauguration, as it battles with austerity measures. But it’s still going to cost R120m. Why? We’ve all just seen the unemployment figures. CyrilRamaphosa PresidencyZA do we need to have such an extravagant inauguration? Why not have a private function with family, friends and guests of honour and televise it. Spending R120m on a one day event is distasteful in the circumstances. Compare it also to Mbeki, Mandela, Deklerk and Verwoed, because Zuma was not the first president.

Cyril must act now and act quickly, while the Zuma wolves are circlingCyril Ramaphosa has helped the ANC win a comfortable 57.5 % of the vote. He has clung on by a hair in Gauteng. He has rescued the ANC from nine years of Zuma and his thugs. That's not comfortable May be they were expecting 45percent🤣 Hmmm

2019 ELECTIONS : ANALYSIS: A win below 60% is good for Cyril Ramaphosa, actuallyIt may be the lowest result yet for the ANC in its history in government, but at a likely 57% win, this is a good outcome for President Cyril Ramaphosa, and a better one for democracy as it ends the identity of South Africa as a single party dominant state. ferialhaffajee Well that's how the ANC works. For the party. Not the people. ferialhaffajee 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🎤🤣🎤🤣🤣😂🤣 ferialhaffajee 😂😂😂😱Oh boy
