The Chinese University of Hong Kong is conducting a worldwide search for the position of Vice-Chancellor and President, in succession to Professor Rocky S. Tuan. The University Council now invites applications from, and nominations of, persons with relevant qualifications and experience and are interested in being considered for this position.
The Vice-Chancellor and President is the chief academic and administrative officer of the University. The Vice-Chancellor and President is appointed by the University Council and is responsible to the Council for the leadership and management of the University, as well as engagement with the wider community.
We welcome applications from, and nominations of, individuals of different backgrounds that will contribute to the diversity in higher education. Applications and nominations should be sent in strict confidence on or before 30 June 2024 to Professor John Y. Chai, Chairman of the University Council, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, c/o Ms.
