Prime Minister Boris Johnson left intensive care on Thursday evening as he continues to recover from COVID-19, but he remains under close observation in hospital, his office said on Thursday.

However, the government statement did not give any details on when Johnson may be able to resume leadership, and Raab - speaking before the latest announcement - had stressed the importance of allowing the prime minister to focus on recovery.Raab is deputising for Johnson during the most stringent shutdown in Britain’s peacetime history.

Frank Augstein/Pool via REUTERS The BoE said it was a short-term measure and both it and government said any borrowing from the Ways and Means facility - effectively the government’s overdraft with the Bank - would be repaid by the end of the year.

“The measures will have to stay in place until we’ve got the evidence that clearly shows we’ve moved beyond the peak,” he said.

Yay Boris! :-)... you don’t have to agree with him, or approve of him, to like him... and if you like the Brits and wish them well they do need him badly now...

Good News!

I'm worrying about Boris...

Thank you Jesus

Most powerful guy in UK now knows what is it to need ICU beds to survive, hope he can see now, with perspective what stupid idea was the fast herd immunity approach he took, where many in his very same position would die for lack of the resources he is using.

Amen!!!!!

👍🏻

الله يشافيه

Too f*ck*ng right he remains 'under observation'. Under observation by the people of the UK.

What medicine did he receive? Surely he did!!!

Well, they found a ventilator for him, what about all those whom he endangered with his earlier policy? Did all infected receive exactly same care
