British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stable after second night in intensive care battling COVID-19 while his foreign minister directs the country’s battle against the outbreak by GuyReuters kholtonreuters

LONDON - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson spent a second night in intensive care and was in a stable condition after receiving oxygen support for COVID-19 complications while his foreign minister directs the country’s battle against the outbreak.

The 55-year-old British leader received oxygen support but was not put on a ventilator and his designated deputy, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, said he would soon be back at the helm as the world faces one of the gravest public health crisis in a century. Inside the British government, ministers were debating how long the world’s fifth largest economy could afford to be shut down, and the long-term implications of one of the most stringent set of emergency controls in peacetime history.

Its giving him a hard time.

Of course, for completely brain-dead nonsense and zero ability to deal with an 'economy' per se, we had the Labour plan including such gems as 'lets renovate all houses at a cost of £20k each' palaver. Sad, hip, bigoted and just as misinformed as the opposition. Competence vs ego

He is so needy of acceptance he is a mascot, and half his clients are the tax-avoiding ministry that can only hope that the innate business acumen of the UK can turn around the intrinsic lack of understanding suggested by HS2 and other show-boat idiocies currently in planning.

You know who is not? The people whose hands he intentionally shook.

He's fat. But imagine rolling over in the morning and trying to bring back the interminable lack of privilege afforded to almost all UK citizens c.70s, and make it sellable? He wants gloom on a scale admittedly previously achieved (w/ mine closures), but for the wrong reasons.

So is he isn't on a ventilator & taking up a bed of a more seriously sick person. You can administer oxygen in a regular bed, can you not? Ah, privilege. I really hope he has no underlying conditions.
