Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott barred all COVID-19 vaccine mandates in his state by any entity, including private employers

Oct 11 - Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott, responding to what he called "bullying" by the Biden Administration, on Monday barred all COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the state by any entity, including private employers.

Abbott's move sets him up for a clash with President Joe Biden, a Democrat who last month called on businesses nationwide to order their workers to be vaccinated or lose their jobs. At least several thousand people have since been fired for refusing to comply. "In another instance of federal overreach, the Biden Administration is now bullying many private entities into imposing COVID-19 vaccine mandates, causing workforce disruptions that threaten Texas' continued recovery from the COVID-19 disaster," Abbott said in an executive order.Abbott's order states that "no entity in Texas" could compel proof of vaccination by any individual, including employees or customers.

What a silly man! I feel sorry for the people of Texas and for America.

Abbott is determined to kill off as many Texans as possible and win the title of the most miserable state to live in the United States.

Not quite the US Army, Navy and Air Force will still require it as will the rest of the federal agencies.

Some more of that sweet ole Texas Freedom!

Governor Abbot’s staff.

Hey businesses, here’s why living in an authoritarian state is bad for commerce. Stop giving these clowns political donations.

Dude’s doing his best to turn TX blue, love it

Wow. I feel incredibly lucky not to live in Texas.

Abbott doesn't mind losing a few thousand more Texan's. Economy 1st!

Texas like living in the 50’s

For Freedom?

The last line of this “laws requiring vaccinations are deeply controversial” that’s an absolute lie. The majority of people favor them. Moreover before Covid they were never considered a big deal

Well damn.🤣
