AUSTIN—Texas businesses and other private entities are now banned from requiring Covid-19 vaccinations for employees, Gov. Greg Abbott said in an executive order issued Monday.
Mr. Abbott, a Republican, said he was adding the issue to the agenda for the current special session of the Texas Legislature and would rescind his order if lawmakers passed a similar ban into law.

Abbott is an embarrassment to the nation, and a danger to Texas, which deserves better. Texans the past 28 days are dying at 400% the rate of deaths in NY, where mandates are in place. You are your brothers keeper, and vaccines are the sole way to accomplish that. Save others.

My friend left his job at Walmart. First there were no masks to be found. He caught it right away. It was rampant in SD. Then he went back and they told him he had to wear a mask or quit. He quit. I think he just got tired of the whole thing.
