INDIANAPOLIS — Victor Wembanyama's experience in the Rising Stars tournament wasn't all that much different than a typical outing with the Spurs. He did his part by posting some robust numbers, but his team still fell short. The rookie sensation finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, but it wasn't enough to fend off a determined bunch of G Leaguers in the showcase of young NBA and G League talent.

Happy to be in Indy, Jeremy Sochan offers message of hope to Spurs fans The two semifinal games were played to a final target score of 40 points. Wembanyama's block of a driving floater by the Osceola Magic's Mac McClung, gave Team Pau a chance to record a comeback win, but Team Detlef collected the rebound to maintain a possession that ended with Buzelis' 15-foot fadeaway dagger. 'I hate losing,' Wembanyama said.
