Ogerpon Battle In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Teal Mask After defeating Kieran, players will have the opportunity to catch Ogerpon in the Teal Mask DLC. Nevertheless, this does not come without an additional challenge. They will have to face the Legendary Pokémon in a battle with four rounds. In each round, Ogerpon will Terastalize using a different mask. It starts off using the Hearthflame Mask, which converts it to a dual Grass- and Fire type Pokémon.
The final part of the encounter will see Ogerpon recover its HP for the last time and use the item that names the expansion, the Teal Mask. This makes the Legendary Pokémon revert to single Grass-type creature. Its Embody Aspect Ability will change a final time, now boosting Speed instead of the other previously increased stats. After its HP is depleted, Ogerpon will become catchable, as if the opponent of a Tera Raid encounter in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
