Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Teal Mask DLC introduced the region of Kitakami by taking Trainers on a field trip to the location and, with it, also brought many new creatures to the Generation 9 Pokédex. Among these Pokémon are a few additions and several returning monsters from previous generations, including the Sinnoh starters in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet .
In fact, to catch Bloodmoon Ursaluna in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players will have to catch at least three-quarters of the Kitakami Pokédex in the Teal Mask DLC. This will allow them to take on the special form of the Hisuian creature. There are several other surprises to encounter while exploring the new region introduced with the expansion.
Teal Mask DLC Expands Scarlet & Violet’s Pokédex The addition of several new Pokémon with the creatures of Kitakami significantly expands Gen 9’s Pokédex and makes Scarlet and Violet feel more complete. There are several great additions to the title, such as Milotic, Vikavolt, and the aforementioned Bloodmoon Ursaluna, which is, so far, exclusive to the Teal Mask DLC.
The addition of certain Pokémon, both new and returning, will change the meta for competitive play as creatures like Hisuian Goodra and Chandelure are great for battles. Following Teal Mask, there will be more creatures arriving with the Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
