Recent polls indicate a decline in black and Hispanic support for the Democratic party, causing worry among Democrat leaders and strategists. The numbers among younger voters, especially younger blacks, younger Latinos, and younger people of color, are particularly concerning. While Democrats still dominate Republicans in black voters' party-preference, the gap has narrowed to the lowest in 25 years. Support for Democrats among black Americans has noticeably decreased, while Hispanic support has dropped by 10% since 2021.
