Photo: Bill Clark/CQ-Roll Call, Inc via Getty Images Late last year, I determined that I knew very little about the second Iraq War, since, in the spring of 2003, I was more focused on how many Mountain Dews I could drink without throwing up, and worrying if the weight of having braces and glasses at the same time would be too much for the neck of a porcelain-tough sixth-grade boy.
It appears that Jared Kushner went through a similar thought process when justifying his fitness for taking on the 72-year Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Speaking with Sky News Arabia on Wednesday, Kushner explained why — nepotism aside — he was the right man for the job: I’ve been studying this now for three years. I’ve read 25 books on it, I’ve spoken to every leader in the region, I’ve spoken to everyone who’s been involved in this.
That’s all but impossible, considering that the Palestinian National Authority has rejected Trump administration invitations to come to the table, aware that any deal made by the current White House would be designed to exert power in the region and to benefit Benjamin Netanyahu. It’s also outright wrong, as proved yesterday in an interview with Christiane Amanpour. When the CNN host claimed that former Israeli officials involved in past peace plans, like Yossi Beilin, admonished the new framework, Kushner dismissed his kind as “random individuals who don’t have a lot of say or maybe knowledge.

One of the life lessons I’ve learned in my time on earth is that money and status give little to no guarantee of skill or intelligence.

Imbecile!!!🙄
Well look at that. Turns out Jared is the stupidest.
If that’s true, then he should most def read a few books on how to improve one’s personality.
Well gee that’s good news
Another stable genius
Rolling on the floor laughing.
Sounds like Ivanka married her father. Ego much?
How to become a member of Trump's family? .that's easy...being totally crazy is fundamental.
At least he can read which is more than you can say for Trump.
They were all Choose Your Own Adventure, sticker books, scratch and sniff, and Dick and Jane Learn Foreign Policy books
what he reads?
I wonder if one of them had to do with Sneetches. 25books

Unrelated to this ridiculous reasoning, Jared has a woman's mouth and lips, right?
I've read 25 books on gangs...I'm not in a gang nor do I gangbang! 🤣 Keep trying Jared!

I can solve it too, rename it Republic of Israel and Palestine RIP with both Jews and Muslims in the government.
Come on, it’s 25 more than Trump has ever read. At least give him that!😂
I bet he didn't say it that way. It seems as if You don't want him to succeed?
Crazier to think the writers at nymag prefer it not get solved at all.

sherr_windy Does reading the same book 25 times count?
Kushner is an idiot.
And probably with a C student understanding of those books. He's not the brightest bulb in the room.

Novelist Paulo Coelho says he's scrapping children's book he wrote with Kobe Bryant out of respectHowever, Coelho didn't rule out 'writing someday about things I learned from Kobe and how much of a larger than life person he was.' No, continue to write the book for him, don’t scrape it! Write it!!💜💜 No! We need it (give it a 6’months to year) his work cannot be silenced. It’s bigger than him. Agreed. It should go on, and maybe donate the proceeds in Bryant's name to a charitable cause he championed.
