However, Coelho didn't rule out 'writing someday about things I learned from Kobe and how much of a larger than life person he was.'

that “it didn’t make any sense to publish without him. It wouldn’t add anything relevant to him or his family.”“That doesn’t stop me from writing someday about things I learned from Kobe and how much of a larger than life person he was,” Coelho said. “But the children’s book did not make sense anymore.”

Coelho said the two hadn’t communicated for months before Bryant sent him the message in August. He did not disclose how much of the book had been written or whether it had a title. The book’s goal was to inspire underprivileged children to overcome adversity through sports, Coelho told the outlet. “Kobe was always very concerned about making a book that was a positive example for children, especially those coming from humble beginnings,” Coelho told HuffPo.

Mr. Coelho, with all due respect, you might want to think about discussing the matter with the Bryant family. They may give you a perspective you hadn't thought about!

Someone let him know he needs to continue to foster the Kobe Bryant's legacy for posterity.

Noooo!

No!! Please don't!

Wouldn't it be a better idea to honor him by completing the manuscript and donating the proceeds to a worthy cause? There won't be any future publications. 🤔👍🏼📘💚 KobeRIP kobeattitude

Please dont... share it with the world

I dint know what the book is but wouldn’t that be a way to honour Kobe. Donate the funds to his foundations What better way to pay respect

Agreed. It should go on, and maybe donate the proceeds in Bryant's name to a charitable cause he championed.

No! We need it (give it a 6’months to year) his work cannot be silenced. It’s bigger than him.

No, continue to write the book for him, don’t scrape it! Write it!!💜💜
