More than 150 workers at the Houston Methodist Hospital system who refused to get a Covid-19 vaccine have been fired or resigned after a judge dismissed an employee lawsuit over the shot requirement

Houston Methodist had required employees to complete their immunization by June 7.More than 150 employees at a Houston hospital system who refused to get a Covid-19 vaccine have been fired or resigned after aA spokesperson for Houston Methodist Hospital system said 153 employees either resigned in the two-week suspension period or were terminated on Tuesday.

Earlier this month, a federal judge threw out the lawsuit filed by 117 employees over the requirement. The case over how far healthcare institutions can go to protect patients and others against the coronavirus has been closely watched. It is believed to be the first of its kind in the U.S. In the June 12 ruling, U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes of Houston deemed lead plaintiff Jennifer Bridges’ contention that the vaccines are “experimental and dangerous” to be false and otherwise irrelevant. He also found that her likening the vaccination requirement to the Nazis’ forced medical experimentation on concentration camp captives during the Holocaust to be “reprehensible.”

Funny how quick we hand over liberty and crucify those who won’t. Just remember, when they’re done with me, they’ll come for you.

A federal judge earlier threw out the lawsuit filed by employees over the requirement. Good - if you are in Healthcare, follow the science or get out of heslthcare!! It’s not a forced vaccine, you a free to leave if you feel your belief, is more important than the health of your patients. “We promise not to force you to have a vaccine, just like we won’t force you to work for this company”. Choices have consequences.

Houston hospital workers fired or resign over COVID-19 vaccine requirementMore than 150 employees at a Houston hospital system have been fired or resigned after the medical system implemented a mandate requiring a COVID-19 vaccine, and a judge dismissed an employee lawsuit over it. Good. These people are supposed to provide health care and yet doesn’t give a damn about themselves or whether they can spread a deadly virus? Fire them all! Easy fix….government stop paying medical bills for those getting sick; only for the vaccine. Insurance companies should raise rates unless proof of vaccination is provided. Then it’s not a mandate; it’s a choice, the American way.

New York State Coffers Swell, Riding Covid-19 RecoveryA better-than-projected economic recovery and a massive influx of federal aid have stuffed New York state’s once-bare coffers, leading some to question the state’s decision to increase income taxes on high earners. We want an article to the White House entitled Why are you killing human rights in Egypt? Egyptian prisons are full of young people, women and the elderly because of the demand for their right to life and the expression of their personal opinions. They’re just preparing for when they blow all that money on stupidness. They’ll be a deficit soon again you’ll see Is the federal aid and recovery efforts long-term and sustainable for them to count on for budgeting purposes? Not really - so it makes sense to focus on securing a sustainable revenue stream through increased taxes while they can safely do so and not risk a shutdown if it fails.
